The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kogi State Chapter has expressed confidence in reclaiming the Lugard House, the seat of government in the state, come 2027.
Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, Chairman of the party who stated this in a statement in Lokoja said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s time in the state has elapsed and they should start preparing their handing over notes.
Gambo expressed optimism that the PDP will not only take over Lugard House but also Aso Rock, citing the party’s current strong network and structures across the state and Nigeria.
He described Kogi State as a PDP state, saying his emergence as Chairman has reignited the winning streak of the PDP.
The Chairman urged Kogi people to remain faithful and supportive of the PDP, emphasizing the need for peace and obedience to law, especially during periods of insecurity like now.
Chairman Gambo assured that the PDP is willing to collaborate with the government to evolve strategies and measures that would help address prevailing security matters. (Ends)
