Gabam Hails Oba Ladoja’s Coronation as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland

The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, has felicitated with Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, describing the historic event as a defining moment for the city’s traditional institution.

In a goodwill message, Gabam said the ascension of the former Oyo State governor to the revered throne reflected not only his leadership qualities but also his lifelong commitment to the welfare of his people.

“Your ascension to the throne is a testament to your leadership qualities and dedication to the well-being of your people. As a former Governor of Oyo State, you have demonstrated exceptional governance skills, and your wealth of experience will undoubtedly shape your reign as Olubadan,” the SDP Chairman stated.

He prayed for wisdom, good health, and divine guidance for the new monarch, expressing optimism that Oba Ladoja’s reign would usher in peace, prosperity, and renewed cultural pride in Ibadanland.

“May your reign be long, prosperous, and blessed with joy and happiness,” Gabam added.
