Wike’s US Homes: Frank Challenges Tinubu’s Silence

The Bola Tinubu administration is under fresh pressure to act as former APC chieftain, Comrade Timi Frank, on Thursday demanded the immediate suspension and investigation of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over an alleged multi-million-dollar property scandal in the United States.

Frank, now Ambassador of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) to East Africa and the Middle East, accused the Presidency of “dangerous silence” despite what he called overwhelming evidence linking Wike to luxury homes in Florida allegedly registered under the names of his wife and children.
“When Betta Edu faced lighter allegations, she was dropped in hours. Why is Wike being treated like he is untouchable? Nigerians deserve answers,” Frank charged.
Citing investigations by People’s Gazette and Sahara Reporters, Frank said anti-corruption agencies like the EFCC and ICPC have “looked the other way,” warning that Tinubu’s reluctance risks collapsing public confidence in his government.

“Impunity breeds revolt,” he added, comparing unchecked corruption to sparks that triggered the Nepal uprising.

Frank linked Tinubu’s silence to 2027 political calculations but warned that shielding allies at the expense of accountability would “make Nigeria a laughing stock before the world.”

“The message is simple: suspend Wike, order an independent probe, and show Nigerians that no one — not even a powerful ally — is above the law,” he declared.
