Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar Namadi has thrown his full weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election prospects, vowing that the state will once again stand firmly with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
At the inauguration of the 4+4 Tinubu/Danmodi Mobilization Campaign Group at the Manpower Development Institute (MDI), Dutse, Namadi praised Tinubu’s administration for what he described as “purposeful and unifying leadership that has made Nigerians proud across all divides.”
Represented by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Hon. Lawan Garba, Namadi urged party loyalists and community mobilizers to take Tinubu’s achievements to the grassroots, ensuring that voters remain informed about the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“One good term deserves another,” the governor declared. “Jigawa belongs to President Bola Tinubu, and by Allah’s grace, we will deliver this state to him in 2027.”
He credited Tinubu’s policies with spurring economic growth and human capital development, noting that Jigawa residents have already felt tangible improvements in their livelihoods.
The mobilization group appointed Hon. Adamu Hudu Kore, Chairman of Garki Local Government Council, as its Director-General. In his acceptance speech, Kore promised an aggressive outreach campaign to consolidate APC’s achievements while strictly adhering to Nigeria’s electoral laws.

> “Our activities will reflect the APC’s philosophy of peace, progress, and democracy,” Kore said. “We will ensure that Jigawa remains a stronghold of support for both President Tinubu and Governor Namadi.”
Political observers see the Dutse event as an early but decisive signal that Jigawa will remain a battleground state to watch in northern Nigeria’s 2027 electoral map.
