Kogi Vigilante Chief Mourns With Finance Commissioner Over Father’s Passing

The Comptroller-General of the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS), Ibrahim Omeiza Sani (Rtd), has commiserated with the state’s Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Mukadam Idris Asiwaju, over the death of his father, Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi.

In a statement signed by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Idris S. Idris, Sani described the late patriarch as a man whose influence and values were reflected in the admirable character of his children and the enduring legacies he left behind.

“The Comptroller-General recognizes the profound impact of the late Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi, which is evident in the enviable character of his children, particularly Hon. Idris Asiwaju,” the statement read. “We pray for Almighty Allah to grant our father eternal rest and give the entire family the fortitude to bear this painful loss.”

Sani further assured the Commissioner that his thoughts and prayers remain with him during this period of grief, urging him and the family to take comfort in the life of service and goodwill exemplified by the deceased.

The Kogi State Vigilante Service has played a critical role in bolstering local security across the state, and observers note that the public show of solidarity underscores the agency’s strong ties with the government and the wider community.
