Former APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Timi Frank, has condemned the killing of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, calling it a “tragic and irreplaceable loss” to democracy and the global youth movement.
In a recent statement, Frank said Kirk’s death was a blow felt far beyond the United States: “Charlie Kirk’s assassination is a painful loss—not just for America, but for young people everywhere. At only 31, he had already begun reshaping political discourse across borders.
“He was a rising star, a devoted patriot, and a man whose passion for God, country, and humanity was evident in all he did.”
Frank, who serves as ULMWP Ambassador to East Africa and the Middle East, urged Utah Governor Spencer Cox and U.S. authorities to ensure a transparent, thorough probe: “Justice must be swift and decisive—not only to give closure to his family and supporters but to reaffirm that violence has no place in democracy. I commend both the U.S. Government and Utah authorities for progress made so far in the investigation.”
Describing Kirk as an enduring inspiration, Frank added: “Charlie Kirk embodied the truth that young people are the future of politics. Whether or not one shared his views, there’s no doubt he championed freedom of speech, association, and democratic ideals. His life and work will continue to inspire young leaders worldwide.”
Frank extended heartfelt condolences to Kirk’s family, supporters, and the U.S. leadership:
“I stand with the Kirk family, his followers across the globe, the people of the United States, and President Donald Trump during this painful time.
May Charlie Kirk’s soul rest peacefully with our Lord Jesus Christ.”
He concluded with a call for unity: “Let this tragedy remind us that our political differences must never spill into violence. Dialogue, freedom, and respect for opposing views remain the pillars of a just and humane world.”
