    Kogi Vigilante Service Nabs Suspected Serial Burglar in Olamaboro

    The Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS), Olamaboro Command, has arrested a suspected serial burglar, Ojochenemi Samuel, accused of terrorising residents around the Etutekpe axis of Olamaboro Local Government Area.
    Public Relations Officer, Idris S. Idris in a statement indicated that following intelligence tip-off, KSVS operatives apprehended Samuel on 19 September 2025.
    “Items recovered from him include a single-barrel firearm, wheelbarrow, three mobile phones, and cash.”
    According to the statement, the suspect reportedly confessed to burgling the home of Mr. Sunday Abutu, from where the items were stolen.
    Explaining further the statement indicated that both the suspect and exhibits have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Olamaboro Division, for further investigation.

    KSVS Comptroller-General Ibrahim Omeiza Sani (Rtd.) praised his team’s swift response and reaffirmed the service’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
    He also thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his continued support for state security efforts.
