The Executive Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. (Dr) John Gabaya, has urged Nigerian artistes to use their talents in promoting peace, unity, and harmony in the country.
Gabaya made the call on Sunday at the launch of “Kpeyelo,” a new gospel album by Bro. Caleb Elisha, held at 1st ECWA Church, Maitama Kubwa, Abuja.
Represented by the Council Secretary, Hon. Eli Peter Kadanya, the Chairman commended Elisha for his enduring service to God and humanity through gospel music.

He observed that his works deeply inspired by the Holy Spirit have continued to transform lives and provide godly entertainment across social and religious divides.
Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Agada Ernest Godwin in a statement indicated thst Gabaya made financial contributions to support the project alongside other council officials.
The statement quoted him to have also reiterated his administration’s commitment to addressing the needs of artistes in Bwari Area Council.

Prominent among those present were Hon. Sabwaya Morris, Supervisory Councillor for Health; Chief Sunday Zaka Sumpe, Chief of Staff to the Chairman; Hon. Danladi Fajemi, Special Adviser on Political Matters; Hon. Peter Obeya, Usuma Ward Councillor; and Hon. Julius Adamu (JP), PDP Chairmanship flagbearer and immediate past Speaker of the Bwari Legislative Arm.
In his goodwill message, Adamu congratulated Elisha and encouraged residents to continue supporting local artistes who are making the council proud.

Responding, Elisha expressed gratitude to Dr. Gabaya and his cabinet members for their consistent support, describing their presence as a source of encouragement to him and other artistes.
Other dignitaries included Hon. Musa Dikko, Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission (Ombudsman); Hon. Nasara Rabo, former Chairman, Kargako LGA; Hon. Yohana Jojo, PDP FCT Organizing Secretary; and Hon. Dalhatu Ezikiekil, former FCT Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, among others.
