The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has congratulated the government and people of Jigawa State on the celebration of its 34th anniversary, describing the milestone as a testament to resilience, progress, and good governance.
In a statement issued by the State Director, Ahmad Tijjani Ibrahim, the Agency commended past and present leaders for their dedication and commitment, which, he said, have transformed the state from its humble beginnings into a thriving entity with notable achievements in infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
“Thirty-four years ago, a beautiful baby was born; today, it has grown into a full-blown, vibrant adult,” Ibrahim remarked. “We now have a state with visible federal presence, functional tertiary institutions across the land, a responsive health system, and strong partnerships between state and local councils to meet grassroots needs. The private sector is thriving, and responsible citizens are supporting the system for greater growth and development.”

He called on citizens to continue offering prayers and support for Governor Umar Namadi, FCA, and his executive team, urging collective responsibility in sustaining Jigawa’s growth trajectory.
Ibrahim also assured that NOA will remain committed to publicizing government programs and policies, while reorienting citizens towards values that foster unity, peace, and development.
