***To Be Laid to Rest Monday in Okpokwu
The family of late Aladi Offikwu Johnson, the 24-year-old Benue-born lady who was gruesomely murdered in an Abuja hotel on June 15, has released details of her burial arrangements.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by Mr. Mike Abu on behalf of the family, a wake will be held today, Sunday, June 22, at the family house in Masaka, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Her body will depart Abuja on Monday, June 23, for her hometown, Olaidu in Edumoga Ehaje, Okpokwu LGA of Benue State, where she will be buried at her family compound the same day.
It will be recalled that Aladi checked into a hotel on 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa, on June 15 with an unidentified man who left the premises alone. She was later found unconscious by hotel staff and was confirmed dead by medical personnel.
As of press time, the FCT Police Command has yet to apprehend the suspect.
