President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated prominent Itsekiri leader, Chief Ayiri Emami, on his 50th birthday, applauding his enduring commitment to peace, unity, and nation-building.

In a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), President Tinubu praised Chief Emami’s remarkable contributions as a politician, businessman, and philanthropist. He highlighted Emami’s “valiant efforts” in promoting peace across the Niger Delta, safeguarding vital oil and gas infrastructure, and fostering greater unity in a region crucial to Nigeria’s economic stability.

Beyond his public service, Tinubu warmly recalled Chief Emami’s steadfast loyalty to him and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu — a proud daughter of Itsekiriland — especially during the critical moments leading up to and during the 2023 general elections.

“Chief Emami has been a pillar of support, not just for the Itsekiri people, but for the nation at large,” Tinubu said. “His dedication to the stability and prosperity of the Niger Delta, and his commitment to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, are deeply appreciated.”

The President wished Chief Emami continued good health, strength, and many more years of impactful service to his people and to Nigeria.
