The Evangelical Church of Winning All (ECWA) Wuse II, Abuja, has strongly refuted media reports suggesting a leadership crisis within the church following the reinstatement of its senior pastor, Rev. Dr. Nashon Azaki.
The church described such claims as false, malicious, and the handiwork of a small group attempting to tarnish its image.

In a statement signed by some founding members of the church, ECWA Wuse II accused a group of 28 individuals of spreading misleading allegations against Pastor Azaki.
The church clarified that the allegations were thoroughly investigated by three independent committees, which found them to be baseless.

“The so-called ‘concerned members’ are only 28 individuals out of a congregation of 3,000. Many of them have since disassociated themselves from the petition, stating their names and signatures were forged,” the statement read.

The church alleged that the group was driven by personal interests and had refused to accept the investigative panels’ findings.
Instead, they launched a media campaign to pressure the church into removing Pastor Azaki.

The statement emphasized that contrary to claims of disquiet, ECWA Wuse II remains united and joyful following Pastor Azaki’s reinstatement.

“There is no crisis in ECWA Wuse II. Instead, there is massive celebration, thanksgiving, and an outpouring of joy. The misinformation being spread is a desperate attempt to mislead the public,” the church declared.

The church urged the public to disregard the negative reports, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, accountability, and spiritual growth.
It called on believers to remain steadfast in faith, pray for the church’s unity, and resist attempts to destabilize its leadership.
