The Senator representing Ogun West senatorial District, Solomon Adeola has unveiled the second edition of his 4-day Free Health Outreach Programme, targeting over 10,000 constituents across Ogun West Senatorial District.
The initiative, designed to improve access to healthcare services, will run concurrently from Tuesday, March 11, to Friday, March 14, 2025, at designated venues in Yewa South, Yewa North, Ado-Odo Ota, Ipokia, and Imeko Afon LGAs.

Speaking during a meeting with medical personnel assigned to execute the programme, Senator Adeola emphasized that the outreach will provide free medical consultations, blood pressure screenings, malaria treatment with free medications, eye examinations with free prescription glasses, as well as health education and counseling sessions.

His Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro in a statement on Sunday indicated that the initiative will also cover free medications for anemia, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, and pain relief for up to six months. Senator Adeola encouraged residents to seize this opportunity, reaffirming his commitment to delivering healthcare services directly to the people.

“This health outreach is another step in ensuring that quality healthcare remains a fundamental benefit of democracy. While I have facilitated the establishment of primary healthcare centers (PHCs), intensive care units (ICUs), provision of ambulances, and stocked hospitals with essential drugs, true healthcare accessibility comes from proactive outreach. This programme brings medical care closer to the people,” Senator Adeola stated.
