Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for the Government House media team to effectively promote the policies and programmes of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.

Bello made this commitment on Friday during a New Year visit by the media team, led by Hon. Ismaila Isah, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, at his Okene residence in Kogi Central Senatorial District.

Welcoming the team with visible delight, the former governor praised their dedication and pledged to remain a pillar of support for media practitioners in the state.
He emphasized the vital role the media plays in projecting the government’s developmental strides and fostering unity among the people.

In his remarks, Hon. Ismaila Isah commended Bello for his legacy of inclusive governance, which he said Governor Ododo is building upon through the administration’s continuity and consolidation agenda.
He assured the former governor of the unflinching loyalty of his political family and the youth of Kogi State, describing Bello as a visionary leader whose foundation for inclusive governance remains a model for sustainable development.
The visit underscored the strong political synergy between the past and present administrations, with Bello’s endorsement seen as a boost to Governor Ododo’s resolve to drive growth and development across the state.
