The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jigawa State chapter, has commiserated with Governor Malam Umar Namadi following the tragic deaths of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.

A delegation led by the party’s 2023 gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido, visited the governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa to offer condolences over the heartbreaking losses, which occurred on Wednesday and Thursday.

Speaking during the visit, Lamido described the deaths as deeply shocking and expressed heartfelt sympathies to the governor and his family.

“Your Excellency, we are here to extend our condolences on the irreversible loss of Hajiya Maryam and Abdulwahab,” Lamido said. “This is a test of faith from Allah SWT, and we pray that He grants you and your family the strength to bear this tragedy.”

He also prayed for the eternal rest of the deceased and comfort for the grieving family, adding that the legacies of the late Hajiya Maryam and Abdulwahab would serve as sources of hope and courage in the trying days ahead.

Lamido further prayed that Almighty Allah grants the departed souls peace in Al Jannatul Firdausi and blesses the governor with continued strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
