In a move to foster grassroots development and tackle socio-economic challenges, the Executive Chairman of Idah Local Government Council, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu, held a strategic meeting with former Senator and human rights advocate, Distinguished Senator Shehu Sani, in Idah, Kogi State.

Information, Communication, and Strategy to the chairman, Comr. Bala Musa Eleojo indicated that the high-profile dialogue centered on governance reforms, infrastructure development, and sustainable growth in the region. Senator Sani, widely known for his outspoken views on national issues, emphasized the need for proactive leadership to address Nigeria’s deep-rooted challenges, which he described as man-made.
Hon. Halilu, in his remarks, expressed gratitude for the visit, describing Senator Sani as a national figure whose insights could inspire meaningful transformations in Idah and beyond.
He called for ongoing collaboration and knowledge-sharing to improve governance, security, and local economic empowerment.
