Disturbing videos shared on social media show lifeless bodies scattered across the ground after the chaotic incident. Charles Aburime, Chief Press Secretary to the Anambra governor, confirmed the tragedy and stated that the state government is monitoring the situation closely, with an official statement to follow.
This devastating event comes just days after another deadly stampede in Ibadan, Oyo State, claimed over 35 lives.
