Senate Committee on Army Mourns Passing of Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja

The Senate Committee on Army has expressed profound sadness over the death of Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff, describing him as one of the finest officers in the history of the Nigerian Army.
In a statement by its Chairman, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yara’dua, the Committee extended condolences to General Lagbaja’s family, colleagues, and the Nigerian Army.

Senator Yara’dua commended General Lagbaja’s outstanding dedication, courage, and patriotism, noting that his career left an indelible mark on the nation’s security and the Nigerian Army’s development.
