REDAN unveils 24 committees to drive its Mission
***commends Housing, Urban development minister’s strides in one year

President of the Real Estate Developer’s Association of Nigeria (REDAN) mission, Prince Akintoye Adeoye has officially announce the appointment of Twenty-Four (24) committees, comprising over 100 dedicated members of the Association to support the Federal government’s efforts in addressing the housing needs of Nigerians.
The committees he said will assist the REDAN 7th Council in realizing their vision, which focuses on some key areas like Advocacy, Transparency, Innovation, professionalism, Sustainability and membership.
Prince Akintoye Adeoye expressed the confidence that with the leadership new direction, their collective efforts will bring about significant achievements that will benefit their members, the real estate industry, and the nation as a whole.
While acknowledging and commending the outstanding leadership of the Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, Prince Akintoye Adeoye said his achievements within one year have greatly advanced the President’s Renewed Hope agenda.
In his words, “We recognize the notable progress in increasing the availability of affordable and decent housing for Nigerians, as demonstrated by the groundbreaking of 6,612 housing units across 13 locations nationwide under the Ministry’s Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Programme.
“We also commend the Ministry’s Urban Renewal and Slum Upgrade Programme, which aligns perfectly with REDAN’s advocacy for inclusive development.
“The Honourable Minister’s vision and dedication to housing, as highlighted in his recent press briefing, and his partnership with Shelter Afrique Development Bank to provide 5,000 affordable housing units in the pilot phase, are commendable.
“His initiatives in Housing Institutions Reforms and plans for a National Housing Data Center are also significant milestones that deserve recognition.
“Our Association serves as a unified platform for real estate developers, working tirelessly to enhance the sector by advocating for favourable policies, establishing industry standards, and fostering collaboration among key stakeholders.
“Moreover, REDAN plays a vital role in addressing the pressing housing challenges faced by our nation.
“We work closely with government bodies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to promote affordable housing and sustainable development across Nigeria.”
