    Ododo Celebrates Former Kogi Governor, Capt. Idris Wada, on His 74th Birthday

    Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has extended his heartfelt congratulations to former Governor Captain Idris Ichalla Wada as he marks his 74th birthday.

    In a statenent that was signed by Ismaila Isah, the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor on monday, he quoted Governor Ododo to have commended Captain Wada for his distinguished leadership, integrity, and commitment to the development of Kogi State.

    He lauded Captain Wada’s contributions during his tenure as governor from January 2011 to January 2016, describing him as a leader with exceptional vision and humility.
    He emphasized Wada’s dedication to the service of God and humanity, which has continued to inspire both current and future leaders.

    The governor also acknowledged the lasting legacies of Captain Wada, noting that his wisdom and guidance remain invaluable to the state’s progress.
    “As you celebrate another year, we are reminded of your significant impact on Kogi State and beyond,” Ododo said, expressing his wishes for Wada’s continued good health and long life.

    Born on August 26, 1950, in Dekina local government area, Captain Wada’s career includes a notable tenure in the Nigerian aviation industry as a pilot and administrator before his time as governor.
    His contributions to Kogi State remain a reference point for leadership and public service in the region.
