FCTA Celebrates 33 Retired Management Staff, Pledges to Prioritize Staff
The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on Thursday celebrated 33 retired management staff, commending their contributions to the administration’s growth and development.
At a grand reception held in their honor, FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to prioritizing staff welfare. “We will continue to ensure that the welfare of all staff is topmost,” she said.
Mahmoud also highlighted the establishment of the FCT Civil Service Commission, a promise fulfilled by the present administration. “The commission has restored hope among career civil servants, giving them the opportunity to reach the peak of their careers,” she added.
The celebration was attended by senior officials, colleagues, and family members of the retired staff, who were praised for their dedication and service to the FCTA.
With this commitment to staff welfare, the FCTA aims to boost morale and productivity among its workforce, ensuring the continued growth and development of the federal capital territory.
The minister who made this commitment at the grand reception in honour of the retired management staff of the administration, also stated that the establishment of the FCT Civil Service Commission was one of the promises fulfilled.
Mahmoud, who was represented by her Senior Special Assistant on Administration and Strategy, Dr. Abdullahi Isah Kauramata, noted that the establishment of the commission has restored the lost hope among career civil servants in the FCT Administration.
