Former Senate Minority Leader, who
represented Plateau North Senatorial District, Simon Mwadkwon has lauded the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for its peaceful and successful congresses and primaries ahead of the Plateau State local government elections.

He highlighted the primaries as evidence of the PDP’s influence in the state, especially in the Northern Zone.

Mwadkwon credited Governor Caleb Mutfwang for fostering a fair and open process, noting that his projects have gained public support.

He expressed confidence that the PDP’s zoning policy would facilitate peaceful congresses and described the primaries as a family affair with high participation.

Acknowledging the role of Senator Jonah David Jang in the Northern Zone, he remarked on the region’s exemplary democratic process. Mwadkwon concluded that the successful primaries reflected the party’s unity and strength as the elections approach on October 9, 2024.
