FG steps up actions on fast tracking Presidential CNG inituative

To fast track the Presidential CNG Initiative (Pi-CNG) the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun has convened a high-level meeting with key stakeholders on Monday at the Federal Ministry of Finance Headquarters, Abuja

The minister stated that the initiative is aimed at provididing affordable and sustainable energy alternatives to Nigerians, mitigating the economic impact of recent policy changes.
Director, Information and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga, in a statement said the initiative is a bold move to drive economic growth and energy security in the country
He quoted Edun to have emphasized the importance of strategic approaches to expedite the implementation of the Pi-CNG at the meeting adding that effective planning and coordination are crucial to the initiative’s success.

Other government functionaries at the meeting included the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Mrs Lydia Shehu Jafiya, CEO of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang as well as the Representatives from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)

As the nation navigates recent policy changes, this high-level meeting marked a crucial step towards mitigating economic impact and paving the way for a brighter energy future. It also marks a significant step towards achieving the goals of the Presidential CNG Initiative
