The audio voice note which has gone viral on social media and made available to our correspondent criticised the Governor for dancing to the dictate of General T. Y Danjuma by destroying the age long ancestral stool of Ukwe Takum to appoint a new Chief of Takum.

In the recorded voice note, Musa Dahiru revealed to his audience how General T.Y Danjuma ordered Governor Agbu who was then on vacation in south Africa to immediately return to Nigeria and instal Bar. Sofiya Gboshi, who is of the Chamba ethnic extraction as General Danjuma as Chief of Takum.

The audio note further revealed how Governor Agbu allegedly told some of his confidants that he had no choice than to cut short his vacation in South Africa to immediately return to Nigeria to carry out his master’s directives.
It was gathered that the Governor who later listened to the said audio conversation was bitter that all what he discussed with his confidants in secret was exposed in the voice note.
According to sources, the Governor allegedly threatened to deal with some of his confidants who are officials of the State House of Assembly for revealing what he discussed with them in secret to the public.
The Governor allegedly directed the State Commissioner of police to arrest Musa Dahiru the author of the recorded voice note with the view to securering his confessional statement to ascertain who divulged Governor Kefas secret discussion to the public.

It was further gathered that the police went into action and arrested Musa Dahiru who has since been under police detention at the GRA police station in Jalingo, for the past three weeks without being charged to court.

Reacting to the allegations, Mr. Emmanuel Bello, Special Adviser to the Governor on media and Digital Communication denied the involvement of Governor Kefas in the arrest and detention of Musa Dahiru.

He said Governor Kefas is a very humane personality who abhors injustice and violation of human rights.

“My boss that I know very well cannot descend too low to direct the police to arrest anyone. I think the police may be performing their duties but not on the directive of the Governor ” he added.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Hafsat Musa, wife of the detained Musa Dahiru has appealed to both Governor Agbu and the State police commissioner to free her husband.
Hafsat told our correspondent that she and her six children are dying of hunger as there was nobody to provide food for them since the arrest of her husband over three weeks ago.
“As you can see, two of my children lying there have been sick and I have no “shi shi” to take them to the hospital or even buying panadol for them. ” she explained in tears.
Sanusi Abdulrahman, a relation of the detained Musa Dahiru also appeal to the police Commissioner to either free him or charge Musa to court instead of detaining him at the police custody continuously.
