    Senator Isah Jibrin, representing Kogi East Senatorial District, Jibrin Isah Echocho has express riots concern over escalating hostility between the Ayeke and Enweli communities of Ibaji, Kogi State.

    The needless violence has recorded monumental casualties, leading to great concern and distress among the populace.
    Senator Jibrin expressed total dismay at the tragic turn of events, emphasizing that such conflicts among brothers are utterly unacceptable, particularly in times when peace and prosperity should be the collective focus of all and sindry. “The resort to arms and violence is alien to the values of our people, and it is imperative that we find peaceful resolutions to our disagreements.
    In light of these distressing developments, Senator Jibrin urgently called upon the Kogi State Government and relevant security agencies to swiftly deploy security operatives to the affected communities.
    “It is imperative to restore law and order, protect the lives and properties of innocent citizens, and prevent further escalation of violence.”
    Senator Jibrin reiterated his commitment to fostering peace, unity, and progress within his senatorial district as he urged all parties involved to prioritize dialogue and reconciliation as the pathway to resolving grievances.
