In a heart rendering scenario unknown gunmen invaded Sagwari Layout Estate in the Dutse area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where at least 11 persons were abducted on Sunday evening at 7:30 pm.
Palpable tension gripped the neighborhood as families scamper for escape routes
It was gathered that the kidnappers, appearing as herders, carried out the invasion in a commando style.

Not less than nine persons were kidnapped from the estate, while an additional two staff members of a hospitality facility were abducted.
A victim, who managed to send a distress message to the estate’s WhatsApp group, expressed concern for his family’s safety before ceasing communication shortly afterward.
Security forces, in collaboration with estate security personnel, have initiated efforts to search the hills behind the estate.
Inquiries made to the Police emergency call center confirmed the command’s awareness of the incident, with the nearest Divisional Police Officer (DPO) receiving directives to mobilize personnel to the scene. The situation remains under active response and investigation by the security forces.
