    Former reps Speaker, Ghali Na’abba dies in Abuja

    A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na”Abba has died in the early hours of Wednesday in Abuja.
    It was gathered that the former lawmaker died in an hospital following a brief illness.

    A family member to the former speaker, Hussaina Na’Abba who confirmed the death said the late politician passed on at about 3am Wednesday at the National Hospital, Abuja.

    According to the source the 8th speaker of Nigeria’s House of Reps will be buried in Kano later in the day.

    The rumoured death of the Kano born politician went viral on social media in May 2020 during the era of the deadly COVID 19. But Na’Abba who was away in London refuted the rumour.

    Ghali, was the speaker of the house of representatives during the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo and member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
