The Senator representing Jigawa northwest senatorial district in JIgawa State, Senator Babangida Hussaini has doled out cash assistance to christian followers of 49 churches in his constituency.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Dutse by Rev.Fr. Matthew Chafa on behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kazaure local government chapter.
In the statement CAN commended the senator for the donation to christian faithfuls living in JIgawa northwest senatorial zone.
The Association also reiterated its confidence in the Senator, stating that, their votes were indeed cast for deserving candidate describing him as a strong unifier among Citizens and Promoter of Peaceful coexistence.
“We must commend the distinguish Senator due to his kind gesture extended to pastors and widows through his humanitarian disposition where 49 Pastors, 90 widows and about 50 vulnerable benefited from his cash gifts for the festive period”.
Also the CAN Chairmen representing Kazaure, Gumel and Ringim, in a letter of appreciation to the Senator, maintained that, “the Senator is indeed, a man of his words, fulfilling his mandate and agenda for Northwest” .
According to the statement, the Senator’s consideration of the Christians constituents, shows an epitome of true Democrat, transparent and inclusive leadership for all.
The Association promised more support for the Senator and prayed for God’s guidance, success and good representation throughout his tenure
