Ohinoyi of Ebiraland dies at 95
The paramount ruler in Kogi Central Senatorial district Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr. Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim is dead.
It was reliably gathered that he gave up the ghost in the early hours of Sunday, 29th October, 2023 at the age of 95.
The Ohinoyi of Ebira land is the head of all traditional rulers in Ebira land in Kogi Central Senatorial District
The title ‘Ohinoyi’ was replaced with ‘Atta’ of Ebira land which has been gazetted by Kogi State government.
A source within the palace indicated that the late monarch has been sick, before joining his ancestors on Sunday.
The Ohinoyi stool according to tradition is rotated amongst the major clans of the Ebira.
The late Ohinoyi, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Dr. AbdulRahman Ado Ibrahim, mounted the saddle on 2 June 1997.
