Nasarawa PDP raises fresh concerns over the plot to disrupt tribunal’s closing address

The opposition Peoples Democratic party (PDP) Nasarawa State chapter has raised concern over plot by some unscrupulous persons to disrupt the Governorship election petition tribunal’s closing argument of counsels.

The state chairman of the party, chief Francis Orogu raised the issue on Wednesday while addressing journalists in Lafia, the state capital.

“The attention of the party is once again drawn to an alleged plot by some unscrupulous government officials plotting to cause mischief by organizing crisis with intent to disrupt the Governorship election petition tribunal from doing its job in Lafia sitting for closing argument by parties.

“As a responsible party we have notified the security agents to take necessary steps in order to forestall any chaos on Thursday in Lafia.

“We urge all Persons who are nursing the intention, plans parading themselves as mastermind to allow peaceful process of the law in the state.

The party dismissed the rumor that it has no reason to justify relocation of governorship tribunal sitting in the state capital to else where.
