President Tinubu appoints new chief executive officers for NIMC, DTAC

***Asks NIMC DG to commence 90-day pre-retirement leave

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, approved the appointment of Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote to serve as the Acting Director-General of the NIMC for a 90-day period, with effect from August 24, 2023.

His full term of four years will begin as the substantive Director-General/CEO, of the agency beginning on November 24, 2023.

He had earlier directed the Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Aliyu Abubakar Aziz, to commence his 90-day pre-retirement leave with effect from August 24, 2023, leading to his eventual retirement from service on November 24, 2023.
President Tinubu has also approved the appointment of Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub as the Director/CEO of the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC).
His appointment followed the expiration of tenure of the former Director/CEO of the DTAC, Dr. Pius Osunyikanmi.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ajuri Ngalale said that the appointment takes immediate effect.
