    Dino Melaye hails Natasha, expresses appreciation for support in Kogi Central

    The Kogi state governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dino Melaye has expressed appreciation for the support of the Kogi Central PDP Senatorial candidate in the last general elections, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan after he emerged the winner of the governorship primaries held in Lokoja, the state capital.

    The ‘enormous’ support in the Central which resulted to his victory in the governorship primary he attributed to Natasha and her husband

    “I acknowledge especially the enormous energy and commitment deployed to this endeavour by my sister, Natasha Akpoti- Uduaghan, and her beloved husband, Your day of celebration is very near, by the grace of God,” he said.

    He described his emergence as the PDP standard-bearer for the November 11, 2023 governorship election in Kogi State as a collective victory, adding that it is a manifestation of a new spirit and purposeful coalition of all people across the state.

    Dino Melaye, a former senator who represented Kogi West in National Assembly polled a total of 313 votes to defeat his closest rival, Idoko Lona who polled 124 votes in a primary election that has been adjudged to be free and fair.
