Governor Sule promises to outdo his predecessors on rural roads, networks

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has said that he will ensure that rural road projects abandoned by previous administrations are opened up to boost economic activities in the areas.

He stated this in Karshi, Karu Local Government Area of the state in continuation of his campaign rally on Wednesday.

“I am happy to note that the road linking Karu to Karshi, which the administrations of Abdullahi Adamu late Aliyu Akwe and Tanko Almakura failed to award contract for its construction, work on the road is now in progress.

“Karshi, which is in Karu LGA, is so dear to my heart considering its close proximity to the FCT. We will therefore take advantage of the abundant resources to transform them for the development of the area and the state in general,” he said.

Governor Sule also said if given another mandate, his second tenure would ensure that more women are captured in the micro finance scheme known primarily for women empowerment. Known as “Kudin A. A. Sule project.
