Former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr Nuruddeen Muhammad’s scholarship for 50 orphans in Jigawa North East senatorial zone is not just an exceptional move, but a new normal in philanthropism in this part of the world.

His gesture can be described as a good thinking, religious duty, noble idea, generous gesture, fantastic project, productive venture and a welcome development.

This idea by Dr. Nuruddeen, is part of his efforts to liberate and improve the standard of living of the common people most especially the orphans, widows, Persons With Disabilities and the less privileged.

The program; Scholarship for 50 orphans in Hadejia town, in Hadejia local government area of Jigawa State took place on Sunday, December 25, 2022.

The event was graced by the traditional leader, the representative of his highness, the emir of Hadejia, Ulamas, youth and women organizations, well-wishers, and community people.

His philanthropic gesture towards the poor children will give them the sense of belonging as they are being carried along to be part of the society and to live normal lives like other children of the wealthy in the society as they now have prospects to be useful to the society in the near future.

It is well known that education is the backbone of every society as no nation can truly develop without education hence one of the reasons Dr. Nura considered education as one of the three priorities of his Unik foundation, while the other two areas remain health and environment.
One important thing about his educational agenda/scholarship is the fact that it deals with religious and western education as well.
Dr Nuruddeen1 (Mai Sawaba) who is Former minister and the PDP Jigawa northeast senatorial candidate, is also a man of his words. If he wins the senatorial seat, many more of such philanthropist gestures including programmes and projects from his Unik Foundation will be unfolded by him, to liberate communities, educate the people, improve their lives and economy and social system. This is his ideas. Such ideas are exceptional which can only come from exceptional people
