2023: Nasarawa PDP says with BVAS, it will retire APC from Govt house

The peoples Democratic Party, (PDP Nasarawa chapter has indicated that the survival of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) in the state over the years is because of the rigging techniques during elections.

The governorship candidate of the PDP, Hon David Umbugadu spoke at a media parley and the unvailing of the party’s campaign schedule.

“From available record by INEC the card reader failed more than 500,000 times. How can card readers fail at that rate in an election? This according to the report resulted into resort to the use of incident form. That was the degree of fraut that took place in 2019.
Umbugadu noted that with the Bimodal Voter Registration System and INEC Result Viewing Portal for the 2023 elections, the ruling APC will be retired.

On his part, Labaran Maku, the Director General, DG campaign to the presidential and governorship campaign, told journalists to take advantage of the Freedom of information law to unravel Information that would help strengthen the nation’s democracy.
“We made sure during the Goodluck Jonathan era that the freedom of information law was enacted for the media to open up everywhere necessary as part of democratic tenet.

Maku appealed to all Nigerians to vote for the PDP to end the unbearable sufferings the ruling APC has plunged the nation into.

Maku assured that the campaign which is schedule to hold from 28th of November will be issue based

In his remark, the state PDP chairman, Francis Orogu urged the media to be thorough and objective un their reportage.

Orogu assured that with the caliber of persons like Maku and the rest in the party victory is sure for the PDP in 2023.
