Jigawa PDP guber candidate takes consultation to Ringim, Gumel emirates

As part of his determination to ensure his candidacy receives wide acceptance for overwhelming victory come 2023 general election, the Jigawa PDP Governorship candidate Mustapha Sule Lamido has taken his statewide consultation with the royal fathers to Gumel and Ringim emirates.
He had earlier paid homage to the Emir of Hadejia and chairman of the Council of Emirs in Jigawa Dr. Adamu Abubakar Maje and the Emir of Kazaure Najib Hussaini Adamu on the same mission where he received overwhelming acceptability.

Lamido(jnr) visited the emirs of Ringim, HRH Alhaji Sayyadi Mahmud (CON) and the emir of Gumel, HRH Alhaji Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Sani (CON) in their palaces respectively, Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Lamido(jnr) who also holds the title of Santuraki Dutse opened his speech with prayers, thanking God Almighty for making it possible for him to meet the traditional leaders to seek for their blessings over his candidacy as PDP flagbearer.
He promised to lead the state with loyalty and obedience as he assured the royal fathers of Ringim and Gumel of his cooperation and disposition to work with them to fix, rehabilitate and reunite Jigawa.

Santuraki solicited the cooperation, support and prayers of both emirs pledging to be the peoples governor by working wholeheartedly to move the state forward by continuing from where the PDP stopped in 2015.
He recalled the developmental strides of the Party, PDP in the State that took Jigawa to the height that brought the state to global reckoning asking them to compare with what has befallen the State The candidate struck a meeting point with the royal fathers who themselves were politicians.

The Ringim Emir had said it loud and clear that he was a politician elected as the Member House of Representative in the second republic.
The Gumel emir who once contested for governorship in the second republic was later appointed commissioner of information in old Kano state during the regime of Late Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar Rimi under the platform of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) –
This might be the reason Lamido(jnr), described his visit as historic journey (visit) to Gumel and Ringim
In Gumel at the emir’s palace, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, after prayers, thanked the emir of Gumel for the warm reception.

“This is a historic journey, “as your son, I have come here to seek your blessings and advise along with my deputy, Babandi who happens to be from Gumel and is your son”

“Your Highness, I have thanked all the emirs where I visited (Hadejia, Kazaure, Rimgim and now Gumel) because of the warm reception given to me and my entourage”

Santuraki says, “Rankaidade, I know Allah gives power to who He wills and as a prayerful person, we need your prayers, we want you to pray for us to succeed and if God will make us to win, we are ready to join hands with the traditional institution to unite Jigawa for peaceful, progressive and productive future”

The emir of Ringim on his part enjoined the gubernatorial candidate and everyone to obey God Almighty, obey his Messenger, prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and obey parents, as doing that, will bring success.

According to him that was the method he applied to be successful.
Dr. Sayyadi (HRH) urged the people to have heart free of envy and wickedness.

The emir welcome Lamido(jnr) and everyone as he express gratitude for the visit.

The emir prayed for unity and peaceful conduct of campaign and elections.
His Royal Highness urged the people to conduct themselves for unity, peace and progress to prevail in order to move the state forward.
Both emirs of Ringim and Gumel wished Mustapha Lamido peaceful and successful campaigns.
