Odebiyi secures employment at SECUREID for another beneficiary of his foundation
The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi has secured a full-time employment opportunity for a beneficiary of the Tolu Odebiyi Scholarship Foundation
A statement by the media aide to the Senator Olubunmi Omoogun indicated that the beneficiary Mr. Olugbade Olajide Israel
is an indigene of Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun West and a graduate of Federal Polytechnic. Ilaro, Ogun State.
According to the statement he got the opportunity at Africa’s leading card manufacturing and tech company, SecureID.
“He will be the company’s new Card Support Operations Engineer.
“SecureID is a smartcard manufacturing and personalization company with MasterCard, VISA, Verve GSMA/SAS, CQM certification to manufacture all types of high security cards in Nigeria and globally.”
The Ogun West Senator, who is also the acting Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Marine transport has increasingly created internship, job and empowerment opportunities for young minds, women and vulnerable people looking for a viable platform to develop and cultivate their skills, knowledge and expertise to become better citizens who can contribute to their various communities.
He is also positioning the youths for the enormous job opportunities that the global digital industry provides.
Recall that Mr. Daniel Tomiwa Stephen, another Tolu Odebiyi Foundation beneficiary landed a role as Mobile Development Intern at the foremost digital technology company in Africa, Flutterwave on the 6th of March, 2022, he attended a 4-day Flutterwave retreat in Ghana in continuation of his training at the tech company, Flutterwave.
Also, another beneficiary of the Tolu Odebiyi Scholarship Foundation, Mr. Johnbull Vitowanu, is currently on IT placement with Flutterwave.
Senator Tolu Odebiyi through his Tolu Odebiyi Scholarship Foundation will continue to increase the fortunes of the youths in Ogun West not only by paying their tuition fees, but also facilitating jobs for them.
