An auto crash that happened on Sunday morning along Obajana-Oshokoshoko-Lokoja road has claimed the lives of six persons
The FRSC in Kogi State said the accident involved two vehicles, a commercial Toyota Haice with registration number KTN04YX and a DAF truck with registration number QAB 961 XA.
31 travellers were involved in the accident that took place at about 6am in the morning which left 17 people injured, while 6 persons were confirmed dead. 8 persons survived with no injuries.
According to the FRSC Command in the State one of the vehicle lost of control, leading to the accident.
Rescue operation was conducted by members of FRSC in conjunction with the Nigerian Police from Obajana Division and Dangote fire service.
The victims were taken to Fisayo Hospital, Obajana while the corpse of 6 persons that lost their lives were also taken to Sariki Hausa of Obajana.
