    Insecurity heightens in Kogi as kidnappers abduct Reverend Father in Obangede

    Kidnappers have reportedly abducted a Roman Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Christopher Onotu from his parish house at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Obangede, headquarters of Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi state.
    The spokesperson of the Kogi State police command, William Aya confirmed that the man of God was kidnapped on Saturday saying that efforts are on to rescue him.
    The incident happened on Saturday few days after series of kidnapping around the Nagazi and FCE areas and after a bomb attack on a masquerada at Idoji in Okene Local Government Area
    According to a Facebook user, Eunice Toyin Alex,
    “My Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Christopher Onotu Kidnapped at Obangede, Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish has been Kidnapped your prayers is needed most my dear people of God.”, She had posted.
