    Yobe Gov’s aide Murtala Yakubu felicitates with christians at Christmas

    Special Assistant to the Governor of Yobe State, Honourable Murtala Yakubu has felicitated with Christians in Kogi State and all around the world for commemorating birth of Jesus

    In a Christmas message he issued on Saturday he encouraged well meaning individuals to indulge in humanitarian services.

    He noted that although the year was filled with diverse challenges, being alive to witness another end of the year is worth being grateful to God.

    Murtala admonished that while they celebrate the holiday season with family and loved ones, they should have sober reflection and pray for peace, unity and togetherness of the country.

    According to him, the season signified hope for mankind adding that its a time to show love following God’s step.
    He reiterated the need for citizens to remain optimistic by believing that Nigeria’s trying phase would soon be a thing of the past.

    The Governor’s aide pointed out that seasons such as this should not pass without people engaging in good gestures, giving out gifts and welfare materials to the needy and being kind to everyone around them, irrespective of religion, ethnicity or social class.

    He added that individual’s action should be such that would promote peace, unity and togetherness.
    Yakubu admonished the people to eschew acts and utterances that could cause disunity.
