NSF speaks out against deadly attacks in Kwara, Katsina, Benue

The Northern Senators Forum has strongly condemned the recent wave of deadly attacks in Kwara, Katsina, and Benue states, which have tragically claimed over 130 lives.
We stand in solidarity with the governments and communities affected by this violence. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims, and we mourn the lives lost to these senseless acts.
The forum chairman, Sen. Abdulaziz Musa Yaradua in a statement on Thursday indicated that the attacks underscored the urgent need to confront the insecurity that continues to threaten our nation.
He commended the dedication of security agencies working tirelessly on the frontlines and urge every citizen to support them by reporting suspicious activities.
The Forum called on the federal government to accelerate the recruitment and deployment of security personnel to prevent further tragedies.
“We remain committed to supporting initiatives that tackle the root causes of insecurity and foster lasting peace and stability across Nigeria. In these dark times, we pray that the affected communities find strength, hope, and resilience.”
