As Nigeria welcomes 2026, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central has urged citizens to embrace collective responsibility, resilience, and national unity, framing the New Year as a critical opportunity for rebuilding, reform, and shared prosperity.
Reflecting on 2025, Akpoti-Uduaghan acknowledged the economic pressures, insecurity, and social challenges faced by Nigerians, while highlighting their strength, courage, and determination in overcoming adversity. “Our trials remind us that no challenge is greater than our collective will to overcome,” she said.
The Senator emphasized the role of youths as the engine of national transformation, calling on them to pursue innovation, entrepreneurship, and education as pathways to progress.
