Nigeria @65: Natasha Rallies Citizens for National Renewal

The Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has urged Nigerians to use the nation’s 65th Independence anniversary as a moment of reflection and renewal.
In her goodwill message, she called for unity, accountability, and resilience in tackling the country’s economic and security challenges while building on the sacrifices of the nation’s founding fathers.
Acknowledging the economic hardship, insecurity, and social inequality that confront the country, the Senator urged Nigerians to also celebrate the triumphs that define the present — from young innovators building global tech brands, to farmers feeding millions, and Nigerian artists shaping world culture.
“Sixty-five years on, the task before us is clear: to transform our vast potential into tangible progress, to ensure no Nigerian is left behind, and to pass on to future generations a country worthy of their pride,” she added.
Senator Natasha reaffirmed her faith in Nigeria’s resilience, urging citizens to unite beyond ethnicity, religion, and politics, while challenging leaders to remain accountable and rooted in service.

“By honouring our past, embracing the present, and marching with hope, we shall bring to life the Nigeria our heroes envisioned,” she concluded.
