The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially endorsed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary.
This was confirmed on Monday by the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum, shortly after the NEC meeting held at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
Damagum said the decision to affirm Anyanwu’s position was one of the critical resolutions reached at the meeting, emphasizing that NEC remains the party’s highest decision-making body.
“Let it be clear that the NEC has affirmed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary of our great party,” he said.
The development reaffirms Anyanwu’s leadership role and signals the party’s move to consolidate its internal structure ahead of future political engagements.
