As part of its commitment to community service, the Men’s Fellowship of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Dutse branch, has donated food items and detergents to the Jigawa State Orphanage Home.
The fellowship made the presentation on Friday during a visit to the orphanage, where they were received by the Deputy Director of the Child Development Unit, Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Fausat I. Muhammad.

Chairman of the Men’s Fellowship, Mr. Segun Olawunmi Isiah, said the outreach was part of their regular efforts to support the vulnerable in society.
“Our goal is to show love and care to orphans and remind them that they are not alone. We want them to know they matter,” he said. “We conduct similar visits twice a year, including to prisons and hospitals.”
Items donated included bags of sugar, packets of spaghetti, cartons of biscuits, bars of soap, Viva detergent, and cartons of Indomie noodles, all worth thousands of naira.
Speaking during the visit, Pastor Olumuyiwa Ajibola, leader of RCCG Jigawa Province, urged wealthy individuals and organizations to follow the example set by the Fellowship in uplifting underserved communities.
In her response, Hajiya Fausat I. Muhammad, who represented the Director of the Child Development Unit, Hajiya Halima Yusuf Usman, thanked the group for their generous support and called on other faith-based and civil society groups to contribute to child welfare in the state.
