    Bishop John Ibenu greets Muslims at Sallah

    Former Kogi State chairman of the Christain Association of Nigeria(CAN) Dr. John Ibenu, has congratulated Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir.

    In a statement on Sunday, Bishop Ibenu who is also the Presiding Bishop of Chapel of Faith International Churches, Lokoja, urged Muslims to continue to pray for Kogi State and the nation for healing and improvement in security and challenges in the economy.

    “On behalf of myself, family and Christian Community, I wish to felicitate with the Muslim Umma for this sallah celebration.

    “God ordained this event for us to learn lessons about His way of life of sacrifice, love, peace, accommodation, nation building and harmonious coexistence,” he said.

    Bishop Ibenu prayed that God heal Nigeria for the good of all.
