    Finally, Buhari assents to Electoral Act Amendment Bill

    President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill into law, almost one month after the National Assembly sent the reworked piece of legislationl to him.

    The signing ceremony took place at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

    The ceremony which began at about midday had in attendance President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
