Gov Bello admonishes judiciary to have the fear of God in discharging their mandate

**Swears in two judges, two Khadis

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, has called the judiciary to put the fear God at heart while administering Justice.
The governor spoke while administering the oath of office on two high court Judges and two Khadis of Shariah Court of appeals.
He reminded the newly inaugurated Judicial officers to always have it at the back of their minds that as judges on Earth, they will equally be judge by Almighty God hereafter.

Governor Bello acknowledged that the task ahead of them as ministers in the temple of Justice is numerous ” but with the fear of God in your dealings you will overcome them”

According to the governor, their responsibility as judges on earth is enormous stressing that “You judge us here on earth, so you will be judge by God
“Put the fear of God at heart in the discharge of your duty. I’m aware of the enormous work in the state Judiciary. More judges and other staff will soon be appointed to reduce the workload in the Judiciary” he told the newly appointed judges.

“The appointment and subsequent inauguration of the judges and Khadis are indication that more appointments will be made to fill the vaccum already created in the state Judiciary.
“I am equally aware that the state Judiciary is facing so much challenges an the area of shortage of manpower. I’m assuring you that in a soonest possible time more judges and administrative staff will be appointed to fill the gap already created” he stated

While congratulating the newly appointed Judicial officers, governor Sani Bello urged them to be fair and just in their new office.

The newly appointed high court Judges are Justice Aisha Wodu Bawa From Lavun Local government, Justice Isaac Jiya, From Gbako Local government and the two Khadis include Shehu Ibrahim Yunusa, from Agaie local government, and Mohammed Ahmed Isah Dalibi from Kontagora local government.

Responding on behalf of the appointed Judicial officers Justice Aisha Wodu Bawa appreciated the commitment of the governor and the Chief judge of Niger State Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik to ensure that their appointments became a reality during her tenure.

She assured that they will leave up to their responsibility in the discharge of their duties and abide by the oath of office as well as ensure there is proper dispensation of Justice in the state as enshrined in the constitution.

Justice Bawa appealed to those yet to be appointed to be patience as their time will surely come.
